Introducing The All-New Dodge Charger Daytona EV

Coming Soon To Progressive CDJR

The 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona: The First Electric Muscle Car

The Charger Daytona marks a new chapter for Dodge as they make their first foray into the EV market. The result is a fast, fuel-efficient muscle car that's a first-of-its-kind. Available in a two- or four-door setup, the Charger Daytona also features a completely new design that is more reminiscent of the early Charger models of the 60s. This truly unique vehicle truly is a turning point in EV evolution, and you don't want to miss out on such a spectacular vehicle.

What's New for 2025?

The new Charger Daytona was initially released back in 2018, and it didn't make much of a splash then. This year, things are different as the model offers an entirely new look, a pair of rear doors, and an updated pistol-grip shifter.

Design

The exterior of the new Charger Daytona is designed from the ground up and borrows cues from the 1960's model. This design choice also holds true for the interior, though, as you'd expect, there are many modern features. Along with comfortable seating for four, the Charger Daytona offers a 10.3- and 16.0-inches instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display in every model.

Also available in every model is a redesigned "pistol grip" shifter, a push button start, and a wireless phone charger. Though not official, we also suspect the new Daytona to have a 1.5 cubic-foot frunk as it was previously offered in the 2018 model.

Performance

Powering every new Charger Daytona is a 100.5 kW nickel cobalt aluminum battery and a 400-volt architecture available in two power levels. In the base R/T, the Charger Daytona outputs 456 horsepower, while the Scat Pack boosts the output to 630 hp. Every new Daytona also has two electric motors, one front and one rear, to provide all-wheel drive.

Charging & Range

Officially, the EPA hasn't released any info on the range of the new Charger Daytona. However, according to Dodge, the Daytona R/T's range is about 317 miles, and the Scat Pack is about 260 miles. Dodge also says the Charger Daytona can go from 20 to 80 percent in just over 27 minutes when hooked to a Level 3 DC CCS fast charger. A Level 2 charging unit will be offered for home use by Dodge, but it's optional to install.

Technology

Though the interior has a slightly retro look, its technology is anything but. Inside the cabin, Louisville and Canton drivers will find a 12.3-inch touchscreen running on the Uconnect 5 system. This display offers satellite radio, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and a navigation system. A head-up display and a nine-speaker Alpine stereo are also available. Although, shoppers can upgrade to an 18-speaker stereo for an added fee.

Safety

All new Dodge Daytona's features include a comprehensive list of safety features. Akron and Kent drives will receive standard features like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. A new system is also offered called "vulnerable road users' detection," which detects pedestrians and bicyclists.
